Here are my predictions for 2017

  1. An attempt will likely be made to assassinate President Donald J. Trump

I say this with great angst and sadness, but considering the hostile climate that has been instilled into a huge portion of the population, it’s plausible that some nutball will come from nowhere to have that moment in the limelight.  The masses of congressional representatives and the open animosity emanating from famous celebrities will serve to stoke the fires of hatred.  It only takes one. It’s also plausible that the attempt would come from an international source, i.e. ISIS.

  1. Michelle Obama to run for the White House in 2020.

The left wing political field will begin grooming Michelle Obama for a presidential run in 2020. This will be aided by all-powerful media outlets such as CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times and the Washington Post, who will continually portray her in a glowing light while suppressing any and all negative connotations.  While they will brainwash us all that she is so well qualified to be a president, the true motive would be to re-install Barack Obama back into the seat of power.

  1. Domestic disturbances will abound in opposition to stricter immigration policies.

As we have seen in the last several years, many of our street protesters are not really protesters at all, but hired operatives on a payroll to create anarchy in America. The clampdown of widespread illegal immigration, from overstayed visas and from border crossings, as well as going forward with building a barrier from Mexico, will serve as a motive for upheavals.

  1. The Hillary scandals stay alive.

President Trump will appoint a special prosecutor to probe and complete the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s foundation, thereby removing it from the hands of the Justice Department and the president and into the purview of a Federal Grand Jury. The e-mail scandal will not be an issue.

  1. North Korea will flex its muscles

Look for tests fired from North Korea to make a defiant statement to the new American president that they are not far from owning a nuclear capability.

  1. Iran will violate the terms of the nuclear deal.

Inspectors will be held at bay or prevented from conducting reviews of nuclear storage facilities, which will present a challenge to the Trump administration who will feel it necessary to show determination and strength. The “Deal” will be in jeopardy.

  1. War with Israel

Armed by Iran and other hostile bases of Middle-East power, Israel will come under warlike attacks from Hamas, Hezbollah and the Palestinian sectors. Emboldened by the recent United Nations Security Council decision in which the U.S. sided with Palestinians by refusing to veto the sanctions, anti-Israel sentiment will peak in 2017.

  1. Donald Trump’s approval rating will soar.

Improvements in illegal immigration, economy and the jobs situation, plus a strong stance on international issues, will cause Trump’s approval rating to climb from 35% to 55%…or thereabouts

  1. Oscar winners: (Not necessarily my favorites, but likely winners)

            Best movie:    “Hidden Figures”

Best Director:  Damien Chazelle (La La Land)

            Best Actor:      Denzel Washington (Fences)

            Best Supporting Actor:  (No prediction)

            Best Actress:    Amy Adams (Arrival)

Best supporting Actress: Viola Davis (Fences)

  1. Nobel Peace Prize winner:

             Angela Merkel, Chancellor, Germany

(I would disagree with Merkel winning this award, but knowing the past history of Peace Prize winners, it would appear very probable.)
