What is most worrisome about Barack Obama’s foreign policies, particularly in the middle east, is not so much his acts of commission, but his acts of omission. In other words, what he says and does is overshadowed by what he does not say and do. Of course, he’s counting on people being stupid enough not to know anything, if it’s not being said.
President Obama was quick to step into the so-called Arab Spring uprisings, calling for the removal of our ally, Hosni Mubarak from Egypt and assisting with military back-up to “freedom fighters” in Libya, aiding in the assassination of Ghadaffi, plus calling for a regime change in Tunisia and in Syria, whose outcome is still unknown.
All of these actions, we should point out, was of great advantage to the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood, the affirmed enemy of the non-Muslim western world. Was that just an accident? A coincidence?
But, why no praise for the “freedom fighters” of Iran in 2009 and 2011, a people yearning to living free yet harnessed into the fundamentalist extremism of the Ayatollahs. Where was Obama’s outcry then? Why wasn’t he calling for the removal of Ahmadinejad? Why no support for the rebels of Iran? The president’s silence was deafening.
Hmmm. No Muslim Brotherhood there.
He also called for Israel to return so-called “occupied” land to the Palestinians and that Israel should return to the pre-1967 borders. All knowledgeable experts and analysts agree that would be tantamount to national suicide. He also spoke out to condemn Israel’s intent to expand settlements on the West Bank. More fodder for the Muslim Brotherhood and unbridled support for the Palestinian causes. This was not surprising, of course, considering the fact that the Palestinians were actively engaged in fund raising for Obama’s 2008 campaign. Quid pro quo.
Our president, the Nobel Peace Prize winner, is conspicuously silent when it comes to the barrage of rockets that continually rain upon Israel for the last six years, thousands of them, from Gaza (Hamas) and from Lebanon (Hezbollah), both unrelenting acts of terrorism and war, to which Israel is the clear victim of aggression. These bombs are aimed at killing any Israelis who happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, just because they are Israeli. Where’s the condemnation? Where’s the president’s voice?
What would be our stance, if another country launched missiles into American cities for the purpose of killing our citizens? We all know the answer to that. But, nothing is said by our administration to condemn, nor do we call upon the UN to impose sanctions upon the terror groups. Instead, the UN votes in favor of Arab causes and the Palestinians over Israel the majority of the time.
Our president, the Nobel Peace Prize winner, is conspicuously silent about the renewed aggression toward Christians in Egypt and in Iraq, all of whom thrived and were protected under the dictatorships of Saddam Hussein and Hosni Mubarak. Today, Christians are on the verge of annihilation, in both countries, openly targeted for murder and discrimination just because they are Christian. Yes, those Arab freedom fighters were sure interested in freedom all right, provided that was freedom for fundamentalist Islamists, and no other religion. Ah, but who cares? Our president cannot be bothered with such trivia.
How about our president’s attitude toward Christians versus Islamists in theUnited States. Obama’s White House released statements recognizing the observance of major Muslim holidays and released statements in 2010 on Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha. Yet, Obama did not issue any statement or proclamation recognizing the Easter Holiday, the most sacred of Christian observances.
Remember, Obama claims to be a Christian. But his actions don’t seem to support his words. Pandering to Islamist causes and Muslims in general far outshines his leanings toward Christianity.
Is he a Christian, really? Or did he join a Christian church in 1988 for political expediency? Is Jeremiah Reverend Wright a bona fide Christian, or was there another hidden agenda in that racist, America-hating so-called church?
The Nobel Peace Prize foundation brought shame upon itself when it bestowed the honor upon Yassar Arafat, a terrorist, in 1994. It also brought shame upon itself when it bestowed the prize upon a charismatic, neophyte American politician who had accomplished nothing in his life other than win an election, and nothing else remarkable in his short stint in the United States Senate, in which he spent most of his time running for president.
So, what is Obama’s mission as president? Why has our president remained mum on the terror that rains constantly upon Israel since they uprooted from and ceded Gaza in an act of conciliation for peace? Why doesn’t this president come forward and acknowledge what all Islamic experts and scholars know, that the Muslim Brotherhood is a highly dangerous, powerful and deceptive organization with intentions to Islamize the western world, by violence and non-violence? And why has our president remained mum about the Christian citizens being killed and harassed within the middle east, but comes forward in supporting the enemies of Israel.
According to MSNBC, ABC and CBS, this is a brilliant president doing a tough job. Yes, love is blind.
According to our modest president himself, he’s the fourth best president in American history. Just ask, he’ll tell you.
According to this writer, his true loyalty to this country (as we know it) is in serious doubt. A stealth agenda — though unproven — seems a more likely motivation, designed to bring down our free-market system, and to appease Islamists of the Muslim Brotherhood throughout the world, no matter who it offends, or who suffers, or how profoundly it will further the Brotherhood’s long-range goals inside the U.S.
The Nobel Peace Prize was the wrong award. Better, the Academy Award for acting.
