At first blush, it would appear that Gov. Rick Perry is a dream candidate for the right; Great record of job growth in Texas, robust state economy moral, religious, no-nonsense, successful, etc. He shot ahead in the polls like a rocket to the moon. But, is there more to the story?
As my readers know, I’ve worked hard at bring the dangers of radical Islam to American awareness. The most serious threat to the future of America is not the sagging economy or global terrorism. These issues take a distant second to the Islamization of the U.S. once the roots take hold. Stealth Jihad is as real as political corruption, we just don’t always see it. It’s here, it’s powerful and it is making inroads under the radar.
The long range goal of radical Islam is to establish a dominant caliphate in the western hemisphere, where Sharia law is destined to trump the constitution. We must not lose sight of that. It’s being accomplished in baby steps, so small, we hardly notice. The organization at the head of that movement, is the Muslim Brotherhood. I can provide any number of book titles and authoritative documents by scholars and experts to support those facts.
How does that connect to Gov. Rick Perry?
Some of my readers have alerted me to heretofore lesser known aspects of Rick Perry’s history of hobnobbing — or sucking up — with influential Muslim friends who are tied to the Muslim Brotherhood and/or anti-American leanings. Naturally, as with most politicians, it’s all about the money. It didn’t take long to find a number of articles and documents to raise concerns. (See below for links)
Perry is apparently very close to Palestinian American billionaire, Farouk Shami, who was an early Democratic contender for governor in 2010, only to switch sides and endorse Perry later on. (Remember, Perry was a Democrat until 1989 and a prior supporter of Al Gore) Shami is a member ( among other organizations) of the American Task Force For Palestine, a less radical organization than Hamas, but one that insists on the Palestinian right of return to Israel as a necessary caveat to any Israeli/Palestinian peace accord. Shami’s late father, Sheik Mohammed, worked with the notorious Grand Mufti of Jerusalem who hopped on board with the Nazis prior to WW II to assist in the Final Solution. (Not that we should hold that against Shami, but it’s worth mentioning). Shami did establish a foundation in his late father’s name, indicating — to me — that Shami held his father in high esteem. The Dallas Morning News reported that Shami attended a Houston parade on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, in 2010, wearing an anti-Israel Kaffiyeh scarf depicting “Jerusalem is Ours” and other pro PLO materials.
This is someone who appears to have considerable influence with Rick Perry. There’s more.
According to the Christian Science Monitor, as governor, Perry signed off on legislation to provide consumer protection laws ensuring the accurate labeling of food products as Halal, or conforming to Muslim dietary restrictions.
Perry also signed off on legislation to introduce Islamic curricula in public schools, pursuant to his cozy association with Aga Khan, multimillion dollar head of Ismailis, a Shi’ite sect of Islam. The result, Islam indoctrination is being introduced in public schools and texts with sanitized versions of its history, portrayed as loving and peaceful to the children of Texas. As part of a $1.3 million grant, Arabic classes would be mandatory at some schools and optional at others. They’ve also brokered deals to introduce sanitized history lessons about Islam in colleges as well.
There is much more to the Aga Khan connection, too lengthy for one blog. Check there:
Then there is Prince Shah Karim al-Husani, another apparent mega-wealthy compatriot of Gov. Rick Perry, and the current Imam of Ismaili Muslims. Perry has forged a tight relationship with the Imam for almost ten years, even laying a brick at the groundbreaking ceremony for his place of Islamic worship in Plano. There is also more to this story:
Representatives of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) the stepchild of the Muslim Brotherhood, have applauded Perry’s alliance with Islam in Texas. If I were a political candidate, I would distance myself from CAIR as far as possible.
All this may sound lovely, appearing as though this governor and presidential candidate is reaching out to the Islamic community. But the reality tells much more. It’s about deep pockets, money and influence, the very weapons in the arsenal of stealth Jihad. The U.S. political structure of greed and power, through and it’s sleazy representatives, are the Achilles Heel of America.
Governor Rick Perry also has some explaining to do in regards to his sell-outs to the Chinese, which has grown into an unwanted stranglehold on the U.S. economy. Here’s a shocking video for your perusal worth an eight-minute watch:
As for me, I’ve had enough of G.W. Bush and Barack Obama and their pandering to people who do not hold the best interests of the United States in their hearts. I wish not to hear one more president announce to the world that Islam is a religion of peace, as though we all should ignore the segments of Islam that is not peaceful, or that we should ignore their sinister goals for America. I am looking for a candidate who has the guts to stand up to the stealth Jihadists, and expose them for who and what they are. We owe that to our grandchildren.
It would appear that Rick Perry smells a deep well of money in the “peaceful” Islamic community from which he will not hesitate to drink. And that’s just the way they want it.
There’s a long way to go before decision time. But for now, I’ll watch Perry’s campaign with a jaundiced eye.
